EOGHAN RUA CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY
A special Assembly was held at Loreto College on Monday 28th March to celebrate the recent success of the Eoghan Rua Camogie team, who won the Junior All Ireland Championship.
Current Loreto students Lucy O’Kane (Year 14), Cara McLaughlin (Year 14), Caoilinn Egan (Year 13) and Colleen McColgan (Year 13) were on the panel which won the All Ireland.
Three former Loreto students also took time to attend the event: Eilis McNamee (team captain), Shauna Doherty and Orla McEwan visited Loreto for the Assembly, bringing the trophy with them.
Mr McCloskey congratulated all the girls and thanked them for being such fantastic role models for our students and great ambassadors for Loreto College.
