The Loreto College Orchestra is one of the few groups in the school which is made up of pupils from all year groups. Any pupil who takes lessons in an orchestral instrument, whether inside or outside of school is encouraged to join the orchestra. On some occasions, some of our talented musicians on the staff join in for some of our concerts.

The orchestra plays a wide range of music tailored to suit the standard of the players in each section. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 3.20pm to 4.20pm.

The orchestra performs in concerts and services in school throughout the year.
