The Friends of Loreto was established by the school in June 2014 as an association of former students, parents and staff.

The group is a committee of like-minded past pupils and parents who wish to maintain the traditional ethos and academic excellence of Loreto College.

​

The Friends of Loreto wishes to get in touch with past pupils and to engage with the local community and businesses, to highlight the great achievements of the school and to raise awareness of its ongoing projects.

​

The Friends of Loreto also aim to raise funds to support the school in its continual commitment to learning, and to ensuring that every Loreto student is encouraged to develop their individual talents. Friends of Loreto held their first major event, the 85th Anniversary Gala Spring Ball in the Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena on Saturday, March 14, 2015.

Since then the group has grown from strength to strength.
