GOOD DAY AT THE DISTRICT ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS
It was amazing to get competitors running, jumping and throwing in the District Athletics Championships, which saw agreat performance by all Loreto athletes at the Antrim Forum.
Zofia Czjaka, Year 13, competed in the Senior Girls’ 100m event. She finished in a very commendable third place. She now goes on to the Ulster Championship on 21st May. We wish her good luck!
Special mention goes to Finn Murphy (Year 10), who very narrowly missed qualifying for the Ulster Finals by 1cm in the Long Jump. Also qualifying from the recent NEBSSA event were: Katie Proctor (Year 8), Sinead McSorley (Year 8), Klaudia Burczak (Year 9), Robin Nellins (Year 9), Leo Montgomery (Year 9), Emma Young (Year 10), Ella Proctor (Year 10), and Nathan Elliott (Year 10).
