Congratulations to Zuzanna Urbanek, Year 11, who was crowned winner of the Springboard Future Chef 2023 local heat at North West Regional College on Friday. Zuzanna is now through to the regional final, which will take place in February. She is a superstar! Graham Henry, Head Chef at Portrush Golf Club will be Zuzanna’s mentor in preparation for the regional final. The competition was judged by Paula McIntyre, Graham Henry and David Mulcahy (Future Chef Chairman).
A huge thank you to Mrs Niblock, Zuzanna’s Food & Nutrition teacher who guided and directed Zuzanna with creativity, energy, enthusiasm and culinary skill in recent weeks.
Congratulations also to Ella Blair who participated in the competition. Ella was highly commended. Another superstar!
