Please see this fantastic video of the Causeway Coast and Glens ‘Pupil Voice Event’ attended by Mrs McCool and some of our pupils from the Student Council and A-level Politics class on Thursday 9th March.
The event took place at Coleraine University in connection with Causeway Coast and Glens & Education Authority. It was attended by local councillors, members of the EA and 11 Post-Primary schools including, Dungiven, Limavady, Ballymoney, Ballycastle and Coleraine. The event afforded young people in the area the opportunity to question local councillors on issues that matter to them.
Prior to the event, Mrs McCool and our pupils completed workshops, with our Shared Education partner school Coleraine Grammar School, coordinated by Mrs Gormley. This event was interlinked with Shared Education, but it was very much an opportunity for our ‘Pupil Voice’.
