The School Library is open every day from 8.30am, during break, lunch, and after school for Homework Club until 4.30pm (except Friday). Besides containing some 10,000 books, the library also has magazines, newspapers, computers and videos with viewing facilities. The library may be booked for class use, and when projects are being set additional books can be obtained from NEELB if sufficient notice is given.

The Library has a colour/b&w photocopier accessed using your PIN number.  Colour photocopies cost 10p.

Comb and Heat binding is available.  Each cost 50p per item.

There are ten network computers in the library which also run the ALICE Inquiry and Book Wizard system.  The Librarian’s computer, used to run the library management system, ALICE, may also be used for Internet access during class time.

We have around 20 journal and magazine titles covering a wide range of subjects. The most recent issues can be found on the Magazine Stand; previous issues are found in the library cupboards. Many journals such as New Scientist and Time also have a web site with contents lists, summaries of articles and archive access. The Times newspaper is provided daily.
