Welcome to the Loreto College Coleraine Website. Loreto College has grown from an acorn in the 1930s to the wonderful co-educational campus that it is today.

We pride ourselves on the sense of community and common purpose within the school. We hold that mutual respect and the promotion of self-esteem are central to the learning process. In sustaining and promoting these the College seeks the closest co-operation with parents/guardians. The result is a pleasant yet disciplined learning environment.

In May 07, the College was delighted to be selected as a Specialist School by the Department of Education.  Specialist School status is a whole school improvement initiative that seeks to share and spread good practice within the school, and with the wider community.  This involves extending our links with other primary and post-primary schools, as well as business and community links for the benefit of all.

We are indebted to the members of the business community who offered support and sponsorship to the College in this initiative, and by so doing expressed their faith in the College for what we do and can achieve.

More than anything, the acquisition of Specialist School status is a recognition of the commitment and dedication of all the staff, pupils and parents, for the years invested in making the College what it is today.
